Since the debut of the series in 2004, millions of copies of the games have been sold. With the success of the video games, there are plans for an animated series and a board game to go along with the already-released novels and comic book miniseries....

Thus, when given the opportunity to talk with David Grivel following Far Cry 6’s gameplay reveal, VGC asked the lead gameplay designer about Ubisoft’s confidence in making Far Cry 6 a cross-generation title. Specifically, the gaming news reporter asked the developer what assurances he could give that Far Cry 6 wouldn’t end up the same way Cyberpunk 2077 did. It also asked if Ubisoft had any plans to show off what the game looks like on last-gen consoles before officially releasing it....

Perhaps the most interesting details unveiled with the Far Cry 6 gameplay reveal were actually hints at Dani Rojas’ backstory. While several interviews previously have described Dani Rojas as a local of Yara, someone who knows the country well, the game’s only other reveal previously focused on Anton Castillo and tangentially Yara. This recent gameplay reveal obviously unveiled how the game’s going to play, but several tidbits shared even more complex details in the protagonist’s past....

While most of the inhabitants within Prosperity hail from the midwest, a particularly important one hails from Quebec: Roger Cadoret. He’s a helicopter pilot, and his ride - eloquently known as The Big Potato - will be the point of entry for these expeditions. In Far Cry New Dawn, expeditions are a series of closed-world adventures that take place outside of Hope County. Completing them on any of their 3 difficulty levels will net the player rare loot, which can then be used to upgrade weapons or secure improvements for Prosperity itself....

The characters have both done horrible things, so why should their lives be spared? This article will discuss some of the implications of these decisions, as well as speculate what the ending might mean for the future of Hope....

First up, Far Cry New Dawn players will need to unlock Expeditions, missions that take players outside the confines of Montana to search for resources and supplies. Unlocking these happen pretty early, luckily, so players just need to keep chipping away at them until they come to the “Government Plane Wreck” mission, which will be the fifth one. Players will want to proceed to the front end of the plane from the get-go (not the one with the truck inside it - the other front end)....

The new film, which will simply be called Fast and Furious 10, recently set a release date for April 7th, 2023. Justin Lin, who has directed the last five Fast and Furious films will be returning. Lin is also set to direct the 11th or rather part two to the 10th film set to hit theaters sometime in early 2024. The two films will continue the same story, simply because there is so much to cover....

As always with the final week of the regular season, you never know which teams are actually going to play their starters or decide to sit their starters mid-game. Especially this early in the week, these rankings are somewhat of a guess, but we’ll be sure to make adjustments later on. Obviously, teams fighting for playoff seeding or berths are going to play their full complement of guys, so those are the safest options....

Now that we’re done talking about meat and potatoes, we can get to the …well … meat and potatoes of this column. Yesterday marked the final Sunday of the fantasy regular season in most leagues. Some owners – we’ll call them “losers” – were already eliminated from playoff contention. Thanks for the donations, folks. See you next year. As always, standard leagues call for splash-play threats who do a lot with their receptions. A seven-catch, 43-yard stat line is acceptable in PPR leagues, but explosive WRs with deep speed and YAC ability tend to pay off more in standard. As always, your early-round, stud WRs are going to be solidly in your lineups either way. (Yes, even Brandon Aiyuk…for now.)
