One of the closest matches at the PCL. The match went on for 60 minutes, 30 minutes of full time, 20 minutes of extra time and 10 minutes of penalty shootouts. Indus strikers Ghalib Halim (jersey 14) really put the pressure on with some excellent chances but St Ann’s Defence and goalkeeper were solid and never let through. One of the most exhilarating penalty shoot-outs finished with St. Ann’s going through to the finals.
Match 2: Semi Finals - Parikrma Center for Learning v/s Farook Higher Secondary School, Kerala
Defending champions Farook HSS displayed a strong defense which did not allow Parikrma to reach their goal post.
Finals: St Ann’s High School, Goa v/s Farook Higher Secondary School, Kerala
Both teams played a very strong defence with neither being able to cross the D. Finally, defending champions, Farook Higher Secondary School, Kerala take home the PCL 2016 Equality Cup yet again.
