The 44-year-old makes his first PGA Tour start of the season at Torrey Pines, California, a course where he’s won eight times—seven at the Farmers Insurance Open and the 2008 U.S. Open.
Woods, Rahm (a winner at Torrey Pines in 2017) and Morikawa will tee off on the 10th hole of the North Course at 12:40 p.m. ET on Thursday.
A 36-hole course, Torrey Pines differs from other courses on the PGA Tour as golfers split the first two rounds between the North and South Courses, then play the final two rounds on the South Course.
World No. 2 and bookmakers’ favorite Rory McIlroy will begin the tournament from the same hole 10 minutes ahead of Woods.
The Northern Irishman, who makes his return to the PGA Tour after a six-week hiatus, will play alongside Cameron Smith and Brandt Snedeker.
Meanwhile, Patrick Reed gets his tournament underway at 12:20 p.m. ET from the first hole of the North Course alongside Billy Horschel and Sebastian Munoz.
On the other side of the draw, Tony Finau tees off from the first hole of the South Course at 12:20 p.m. ET along with Dylan Frittelli and Ted Potter.
Defending champion Justin Rose follows at 1:30 p.m. along with 2015 PGA Championship winner Jason Day and three-time major champion Jordan Spieth.
Three-time Farmer Insurance Open champion Phil Mickelson follows the trio when he tees off at 1:40 p.m. ET along with Rickie Fowler and Xander Schauffele.
