As a reminder, the DLC, titled Dani & Danny vs Everybody sees actor Danny Trejo appearing as himself to team up with Far Cry 6’s main character Dani Rojas. Exact details are still unknown, but Trejo will be wielding a machete as a reference to the character of Machete, who he played in the Spy Kids and Machete movies. It will also feature Trejo’s own restaurant.

Removing the DLC isn’t the only thing the patch does. It also comes with bug fixes, performance improvements, and upcoming content that Ubisoft plans on releasing in the coming weeks, such as the Los Tres Santos Special Operation. There are a few quality-of-life fixes as well, such as giving players the option to skip the title sequence and the addition of a Moneda tutorial after finishing the first Insurgency.

The full details can be read on Ubisoft’s website, including the rather large list of bugs that have been fixed and the size of the patch. It varies depending on the platform, with it being between 13 and 20GB on the Xbox consoles, between 49 and 60GB on PS4, and roughly 90GB on PS5.

Far Cry 6 hasn’t had the smoothest of launches. Aside from accidentally releasing DLC early and suffering numerous bugs and other technical issues, it has received complaints in other area, such as its story and lack of innovation. Most recently, players found themselves receiving emails from main villain Anton Castillo, which stirred some controversy for their mocking tone towards those who weren’t playing often.
