The MLB night slate is very thin when it comes to pitching. On a typical night, there might be 8-10 pitchers narrowed down to 3-4 for the Playbook, but I only find four of any interest.

Gio Gonzalez is the top option tonight. I really don’t feel he is that far above the other options, so if you want to take a chance on the youngsters or an aging veteran to free up some cash, I could go with that as well. There a few value plays mixed in for guys I am hoping will be in the lineups, but we’ll update the Playbook at FantasyAlarm.com as more information becomes available. That’s why the number of players listed here is greater than normal for right now. There are also four catchers listed, but have a feeling one or two of those could get rested.
