While the wide receiver position is relatively healthy considering the time of year, we’ll still be keeping our eye on the statuses of Tyler Lockett (finger), Chris Olave (hamstring), Chase Claypool (knee), and Christian Watson (hip) ahead of Week 17. It’s always tough to predict which players will suit up late in the year, but all of these players at least have a shot to get back on the field.

Demarcus Robinson and DeSean Jackson (vs. Steelers in Week 17), Chris Moore (vs. Jaguars), Romeo Doubs (vs. Vikings), Claypool (knee), and Noah Brown (@ Titans) comprised this week’s crop of deep-league streamers in our waiver wire watchlist. With the Ravens’ receiving options limited outside of Mark Andrews, Robinson and Jackson (and Sammy Watkins) figure to see an increase in usage and could put up flex-worthy numbers against a Steelers defense allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to WRs. That said, it’s tough to trust any if Lamar Jackson (knee) isn’t back, so watch the injury reports closely.

WEEK 17 STANDARD RANKINGS:QBs | RBs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Moore’s in line for a good number of targets with Nico Collins (foot) recently landing on injured reserve, and he should bounce back after last-week’s cold-weather dud. Doubs has flashed at times in both of his games since returning from an ankle injury, and he could be in line for more targets with Watson hurting. He now gets to face a porous Vikings’ pass defense that’s allowed a 48.3-percent drop-back success rate since Week 10 (25th). Claypool (or Dante Pettis, if Claypool is out) can feast on a reeling Lions’ defense that was just torched by D.J. Moore. Lastly, Brown and the Cowboys face a Titans defense that’s allowed the most fantasy points to WRs, giving him the chance to post a respectable fantasy output if he gets a similar workload as Weeks 14 and 15 (15 targets) as opposed to Week 16 (2).

WEEK 17 PPR RANKINGS:QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

In shallower formats, you might be better off leaving Michael Pittman Jr. (@ Giants), Garrett Wilson (@ Seahawks), Zay Jones and Christian Kirk (@ Texans), D.J. Moore (@ Buccaneers), Donovan Peoples-Jones (@ Commanders), JuJu Smith-Schuster (vs. Broncos), and Gabriel Davis (@ Bengals) on your benches, depending on your other options. None are “bad” plays, but they all face below-average WR matchups and have lower floors and ceilings than usual. They should still see regular targets, though, so it’s not as if they can’t produce WR1-caliber numbers, especially in PPR leagues.

WEEK 17 FANTASY PICKS: Sleepers | Busts | Start ’em, sit ’em

Going a bit deeper, Adam Thielen (@ Packers), Darius Slayton, Richie James Jr., and Isaiah Hodgins (@ Colts), Treylon Burks (vs. Cowboys), Elijah Moore (@ Seahawks), Mack Hollins and Hunter Renfrow (vs. 49ers), and Parris Campbell (@ Giants) are best suited for bench relegation. Thielen could always score and one of those Giants seems destined for a good game, but it’s tough to know which one. Burks, Moore, and Campbell are limited by their QBs, while the Raiders’ WRs face San Francisco’s dominant pass defense.

Week 17 DFS: Best values

Conversely, Courtland Sutton (@ Chiefs), Diontae Johnson and George Pickens (@ Ravens), Christian Watson and Allen Lazard (vs. Vikings), Drake London (vs. Cardinals), and Brandin Cooks (vs. Jaguars) should be in the majority of shallow-league starting lineups. All draw plus matchups, giving them a realistic chance to rack up five-plus receptions along with a couple of red-zone targets.

WEEK 17 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel

For those in deeper leagues, DJ Chark (vs. Bears), Michael Gallup (@ Titans), Jakobi Meyers (vs. Dolphins), Jahan Dotson (vs. Browns), Joshua Palmer (vs. Rams) are in play, and you could even try Trenton Irwin (vs. Bills) and Isaiah McKenzie (@ Bengals) as boom-or-bust flex plays, as there figures to be plenty of points in the Bills-Bengals showdown.

Note: We’ll be updating these WR rankings as needed throughout the week, so check back for the latest changes.
